While schools have the right to set their own prices for services, there is a clear difference between charging fair fees and unreasonable ones. Unlike the ‘other guys,’ who often prioritize profits over value, we focus on providing a balanced, competitive fee structure. By carefully evaluating our overhead and operational costs, we ensure our programs remain high-quality and accessible. Additionally, we offer a variety of options to meet your needs, so you can choose the package that works best for you without compromising on value or quality.

Option 1: Pay-As-You-Go (No Financing Fees)

All you need to do is put the minimum down $1250, and you can get started right away.

Students may pay their tuition over the 10-week course with no financing fees, provided the balance is at least 50% paid by Week 5 and paid in full by the end of Week 10. Students may choose their own payment amounts and schedule, as long as these milestones are met.

This option allows you to spread out payments during the course without any finance charges, making it easier to manage your tuition while you train for your new career.

Option 2: Independent Financing (Separate from NJAHI®)

For students who need more time beyond the 10 weeks, an independent financing option is available through a financial institution with no money down. This program makes it easy to start your training immediately without any upfront costs. You can choose a repayment term of up to 72 months and select a monthly payment plan that fits comfortably within your budget. Whether you’re just beginning your education or balancing other expenses, this option provides the flexibility to move forward without financial stress.

TUITION PAYMENT GUIDELINES

We take pride in offering students greater financial flexibility and transparency compared to other schools. Unlike many programs, we do not charge finance fees, allowing you to manage your payments in a way that works best for you.

Minimum Down Payment:
$995 or $1,275 (depending on the package selected) is due upfront to secure your spot.
Weekly Invoicing:
You will receive an invoice every week. How you choose to pay—whether in small or large installments—is completely up to you, as long as the remaining balance (after your down payment) is paid according to the Tuition Payment Guideline.

Key Payment Milestones:

By the end of Week 5 – at least 50% of the remaining balance must be paid
By the end of Week 10 – 100% of the remaining balance must be paid

If payments fall behind the required schedule at any checkpoint, a 5% late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance each month until the account is brought current.

REFUND POLICY

Should the student’s enrollment be terminated, or should the student withdraw for any reason, all refunds will be made according to the following refund schedule.

Students who wish to cancel their enrollment in a program or at the school must do so in writing. The request must include the date of withdrawal and must be dated and signed by the student. This letter must be received within one week of the withdrawal (5 business days) to receive tuition reimbursement for that week. Tuition reimbursement will begin the week the notification is received. It is best to hand-deliver the withdrawal letter and have a copy signed by the admissions officer or mail the letter by Certified Mail.
All monies will be refunded if the applicant is not accepted by the school or if the student cancels within three (3) business days after the enrollment agreement is signed by both parties, even if instruction has begun.
Cancellation after the third (3^rd) business day, but before the first class, will result in a refund of all monies paid, with the exception of the Admission/Administrative Fee
Withdraw after attendance has begun is based on the following refund policy for all modules. The modules at the NJ Academy of Home Inspectors are two days each over a one-week period, excluding holidays. Each day is 7 instructional hours in length. There are 14 hours for each module. An instructional hour is defined as 60 consecutive minutes, of which a minimum of 60 minutes is dedicated to instruction.

A student who has a student loan and withdrawals from the program is responsible for notifying the loan institution of withdrawal from the school. This notification should be done in writing. It should include the date of withdrawal; the student’s social security number and signature should be included. Students should maintain a copy of this letter for their files. The NJ Academy of Home Inspectors encourages the development of good business practices in their students. It is to this extent that we remind the withdrawing student that the date of withdrawal on the letter to the director must be the same date as on the letter to the loan institution.
