The NJ Academy of Home Inspectors (NJAHI) is currently seeking dedicated inspectors to join our Field Mentoring Program as Field Training Instructors (FTIs). As an FTI, you’ll have the chance to mentor aspiring home inspectors, gain invaluable marketing exposure, and earn income on a tier-based compensation system.

  1. Complete the Agreement
    • Click the below button to download the Field Training Inspector agreement. Fill it out and include a short bio outlining your qualifications.
    • Send both to info@nj-ahi.com
    • Once we receive it we will review your submission to confirm you are a good fit for the school and the school is a good fit for you.
    • If all goes well we will create your SuperSaas calendar which is an online scheduler that students will use to see your schedule and book field training inspections with you.
    • You will then receive a welcome letter
    • We’ll provide your user ID and password.
    • You can start logging inspections and inviting students to shadow you during your home inspections.
  2. Log Your Inspections
    • Enter your inspection times into the online SuperSaaS calendar so students can book in real-time.
    • We recommend logging new inspections as soon as they’re booked to ensure accuracy and availability.
  3. Train & Mentor
    • Mentor NJAHI students during their field inspections, sharing your expertise and helping them meet licensing requirements.
    • Students can also assist with basic tasks, offering an extra set of eyes and a team dynamic that clients often appreciate.
    • For every student you train, you’ll receive compensation and be eligible to earn CEU credits.
